Britney Spears Wants Nothing To Do With Her Mother

The relationship between Britney and Lynne Spears has been strained since Lynne “forced” Britney into rehab, and things have deteriorated so badly that now Britney is taking out a restraining order against her mother.

Britney Spears is considering filing a restraining order against her mother, it has been reported.

The ‘Toxic’ singer is said to have visited her attorney earlier this week to make enquiries about the order, which would keep her mother Lynne away from Britney’s children, reports gossip website X17online.

Sources claimed the troubled star was furious with Lynne for making her check into rehab to seek help for her alleged alcohol addiction and post-natal depression earlier this year.

Lynne also reportedly sided with Britney’s estranged husband Kevin Federline during the couple’s custody battle for their two sons, 21-month-old Sean Preston and Jayden James, nine months.

Lynne recently insisted her relationship with her daughter was improving, but added Britney still has a long way to go.

She said: “It’s sad that the whole world had to watch her make mistakes that all of us have made at one time or another. “Britney Jean Spears is the sweetest and the most sensitive and loving of all my children. She’s just figuring things out.”

Lynne Spears always struck me as the consummate stage mother, where every kid was a meal ticket to fame and fortune. She’s probably had her eye on those grandkids since before they were even born, with visions of “The Spears Family Fun Hour” dancing in her head. It could be a modern-day Hee-Haw. Modern because Britney would be on it too, and it would be sort of slutty.
