Shilpa Shetty To Play The Next Bond Girl?

Bollywood phenom Shilpa Shetty, best known in the United States for her ill-fated kiss from Richard Gere, is said to be in talks to play the part of a love interest in the next James Bond movie.

Remember the name Shilpa Shetty. The Bollywood beauty, who got in hot water earlier this year when she and Richard Gere kissed in public at an AIDS awareness event in India, is on the verge of being signed as an upcoming Bond girl opposite Daniel Craig.

“Shilpa is having secret talks with the top brass who are working on the next movie,” a source tells London’s Daily Mail.

Shetty’s rep didn’t get back to us.

This would be an excellent move for Shilpa, mainly because nobody deserves to be known only for being molested by Richard Gere. Even that fabled hamster is all “Dude, come on. There’s more to me than that. I’ve done excellent work on the wheel, and I can get through that maze in under a minute!”
