Paula Abdul Never Stops Lying

Paula Abdul’s publicity people are claiming that she voluntarily quit the Bratz movie, despite widely-viewed YouTube footage to the contrary.

Though a Page Six report and a circulating YouTube clip suggest otherwise, Paula Abdul’s rep tells Usmagazine.com exclusively that she was not fired via email from the the Bratz movie. In fact, they say she was not fired at all!

In a statement released today, the singer/reality star’s rep said that Abdul’s schedule was to blame for her leaving the production. “She was not only taping “American Idol three days at week, she was also filming her Bravo reality series Hey Paula! five days a week as well. In addition, she was in the process of not only expanding her successful QVC jewelry line but also coming up with the first scent in her new perfume line “Sexy Thoughts.”

With all her responsibilities, Abdul’s rep explains, “something had to give and ultimately that was Bratz.”

And what about the footage of Abdul crying about the film on Hey Paula!? “Very creative editing,” her rep says.

Bravo reps, however, stand by their show. “The email Paula received and her reaction was a very real and emotional moment that was shown as it happenned,” reps for the network tell Us.

Paula Abdul has absolutely no regard for truth whatsoever. She lied about how she broke her nose, and she’s lying about this. You can “creatively edit” all day long, but you can’t manufacture words and reactions that were never there at all. If given an opening, her people would almost certainly claim that “Straight Up” could still be number one on the charts today, but Paula asked them to remove it in order to give other songs a chance. And also? “Rush Rush” won a Nobel Prize for bestest song in the whole wide world! But don’t call them to ask about it, because they’re out of town and won’t be there to confirm.
