A Minnesota radio station is offering Paris Hilton $1M to co-host their morning show.
Paris Hilton has been offered a $1 million-a-year contract to host a US local radio show.
KDWB Radio - which broadcast to Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota - have offered the hotel heiress the six figure sum to co-host their morning show.
Current host Dave Ryan said: “We need a co-host. She needs something to do. It’s playing music and talking while sitting on a comfortable chair. There’s very little stress or anxiety and absolutely no metal toilets!”
KDWB’s vice president Mick Anselmo said: “We’re serious about it. It’s just a matter of working out the details.”
The 26-year-old already has a career as a singer, actress and reality TV star and is president of three businesses - Paris Hilton Entertainment, Paris Hilton Enterprises and Heiress Records.
She has her own signature perfume and jewellery line, fronts a mobile phone gaming service, had her autobiography on the best-seller list and also earns up to $200,000 for public appearances at parties and social events.
She was listed on Forbes magazine’s Top 100 Money-Earning Celebrities at number 56 last year with an estimated annual income of $7 million.
Why does KDWB hate its listeners? Of course this will never happen, Paris wouldn’t deign to move to Minnesota or take a job that required her to get up at 5 a.m., but can you imagine having Paris’s voice be the first thing you heard when you woke up in the morning? I’d rather set my alarm to the jackhammer channel, or the all kitten torture all the time station.
